Welcome to Woodland Day Nursery
We are a well established nursery in Bebington/Rock Ferry, Wirral, with over 40 years experience of providing the very best in childcare and nursery education for children aged 0 - 5 years. Our long serving, highly qualified and committed staff ensure that each child receives exceptional individual attention.
Our nursery
Our setting is a lovely old Victorian house in a quiet suburban woodland corner of the Wirral. We aim to create a homely and secure environment for just 29 children to provide:
- Peace of mind for parents leaving a child with us
- A well resourced and equipped environment for young children
- Total care alongside early learning
- Best learning outcomes for each child
We enjoy learning through play where our activities are planned by a fully qualified teacher. Our mature woodland garden allows us to enjoy outdoor play in all weathers with regular outings to the local community. Our curriculum meets the requirements for the Early Years Foundation Stage and we retain many Montessori practices with a broad vision of education as an aid to life. Our cook prepares nutritous, well balanced meals freshly cooked on the premises each day, to cater for all dietary requirements and preferences.
We are open open 8.00am to 5.30pm all year round with affordable prices for all parents. Free nursery education is provided for children aged 3 and 4 years.
We welcome all parents and children from Bebington, Rock Ferry, Birkenhead and across the Wirral. We are conveniently placed on the border of Birkenhead and Bebington. You can make an enquiry through our site or by telephone and you can visit us at any time either with a planned or unplanned visit.
Visiting and joining us
We welcome parents to visit us at any time. You can just call in to see us or phone to arrange a visit. Please call if you would like a prospectus first. We hope you will enjoy a visit to our little setting with your child where you can make as many visits as necessary before deciding whether to join us.
When you decide to join us, we arrange a number of settling in visits as your child adjusts to our setting.
